Water Storage

Water softeners, carbon filters, industrial reverse osmosis systems, commercial reverse osmosis systems, uv systems, water deionization systems and iron/sulphur filters are all integral components of typical water treatment or water conditioning projects. Depending on the particulars of each site, application and project, a variety of additional components may be required. These additional water treatment components may include:
  • polyethylene storage tanks (used to house city water, pure reverse osmosis water, deionized water, soft water or filtered water)
  • pressure gauges
  • flow rate monitors
  • booster and jet pumps
  • float switches
  • TDS monitors
  • housings for filter cartridges
  • PLC electronic control box
  • pressure regulators
  • retention tanks
  • batch controllers/processors
  • ball/check valves

Most industrial reverse osmosis systems and commercial reverse osmosis systems, along with the necessary pretreatment equipment such as commercial water softeners, iron filters, sulphur filters and uv systems, almost always require adequate storage. Often times, reverse osmosis or softened water is needed at various time intervals throughout the day, and therefore can be stored and used later more efficiently than oversizing the units.

Various electronic and mechanical instruments are required in the process of properly commissioning an industrial reverse osmosis system, and water treatment projects in general. Water softeners, carbon filters, deionizers, reverse osmosis systems, storage tanks, float switches, booster pumps and PLC electronic controls have to be compatible and be able to communicate with one another electronically for an effective solution.
